Sponsorship Packages

Founded in 1911, Barry Athletic Bowls Club has a rich heritage and history as one of the leading clubs in Welsh Bowls. The club boasts one of the finest playing greens in Wales, excellent pavilion and facilities and has produced many players that have represented the club at county, international, European, commonwealth and world level.

The club competes in the East Wales Private Greens League and regularly fields three competitive teams every week during the season. The club is also an affiliated member of the Welsh Bowling Association, the South Vale District Bowling Association and the Vale of Glamorgan County Bowling Association.

The club has hosted national and international events, attracting players, supporters and visitors from around the world to our green and plans are currently under discussion for a major international event to be hosted at our green in the 2019 season. During the 2017 season, the Vale of Glamorgan County President will host his President’s matches at Barry Athletic.

During the season, we host teams and supporters from across Wales in competitive matches at all levels of the sport. We are a highly prominent club in Wales and the wider bowling world and our profile and visibility in the sport will bring significant advertising and marketing opportunities for both local and national businesses. We will also take the opportunity to promote your business, your products and services whenever possible in the local media and to visitors to our facilities.

Premium Package - SOLD

Our premium sponsorship package is a three year commitment of £400pa. Our Premium Sponsor will receive:

  • Their advertising and logos embroidered on our first and second team playing shirts.
  • Their advertising and logos on club shower jackets (optional purchase for members) 
  • An advertising board displayed permanently at our green for the season
  • Prominent display area on our website to highlight their logos and local business
  • Invitations to Club events such as Opening Day and Club Finals day
  • An opportunity to provide discrete internal advertising in our pavilion
  • References in match report in the local media
  • Honorary Social Membership for the period of sponsorship

Club Wear Sponsorship Package -SOLD

Our Club Wear Sponsorship Package is a three year commitment of £300pa. Our Club Wear Sponsor will receive:

  • Their advertising and logos on our club shirts worn before and after matches
  • An advertising board displayed permanently at our green for the season
  • Logo on Sponsors page of club website
  • Invitations to Club events such as Opening Day and Club Finals day
  • An opportunity to provide discrete internal advertising in our pavilion
  • Honorary Social Membership for the period of sponsorship

Green Sponsorship - SOLD

New for the 2017 season, our Green Sponsorship package is a one year commitment, of £250pa. (Name will be subject to approval by our Management Committee). Our Green Sponsor will receive:

  • The option of renaming of our green and playing facilities for one year 
  • Prominent display board at the club wth sponsor’s name - board to read “Welcome to the xxx green - home of Barry Athletic Bowls Club’
  • References in speeches and match reports in the local media
  • Sponsorship acknowledgement on club website
  • Honorary Social Membership for the period of sponsorship

Board Sponsorship - JUST THREE REMAINING

Our Board Sponsorship package is a one year commitment of £150 per annum. Our Board sponsors will receive:

  • An advertising board on permanent display at the green and pavilion for the season
  • Sponsorship acknowledgement on club website
  • Honorary Social Membership for the period of sponsorship

Jack Sponsorship - SOLD

New for the 2017 season, our Jack Sponsorship Package is a one year commitment for £200pa and covers all league games played during the season. Our Jack Sponsors will receive:

  • Acknowledgement on club website
  • Engraved jack with Sponsors logo to be used at all home Private Green and Carruthers Matches
  • References in pre and post match speeches and local media reports
  • Honorary Social Membership for the period of sponsorship
