John Jones RIP

We are sad to let you know that our dear friend and colleague John (Johnnie) Jones has passed away. John had been seriously ill for some time and his passing will come as some relief for famiily and friends. Although a member of our club for a relatively short time John was well known in bowling circles and a great supporter of county bowls. His wit, his infectious smile and his wonderful singing will long be rembered, as will his conribution to Barry Atletic as A team captain and committee member. He provided generous support to the club also with personal sponsorship of our club shirts. Johnny's funeral will be held on Friday 1st February 2019 at 11.00am at Barry Crematorium followed by a wake at the social club in Market Street Barry for friends and family.
